ABOUT
The Santa Rosa Antibiotic Effectiveness Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that has been formed to advance the science of antibiotic medicine and to educate the public about our research in antibiotic effectiveness, which will benefit individuals and the community.
The specific focus of the project is to study the effectiveness of subcutaneously infused antibiotics, as compared to intravenous administration, in the prevention of surgical-site infections. Under this program, we are conducting FDA and IRB approved research devoted to determining whether ultrasonic dispersion of infused antibiotics into a target area is more effective than traditional intravenous administration.
